EA E3 Highlights

With there being about a million news articles for each announcement at the E3 events, it’s nice to have one article that just focuses on it all, so LGA is here to make the news simple.

EA had a few big-time announcements with the most important one being the release date reveal and gameplay trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. This game has already has been confirmed that it will be more story focused than what the previous games have been like. Additionally, the story will synch with the prequel movie to the original series: Star Wars: Rogue One.

You can view the gameplay demo in the video below and look for the game’s release on November 15th!

Additionally, EA has announced that Apex Legends will get a season 2 through the devs for the game have admitted that it’s not as easy for them as we would all like to believe. Their primary goal, though, will be working to improve common complaints on the game including slow performance for beginning matches, audio issues, gameplaying cheaters, and hit registration issues.

For all of you sports fans out there, EA has you covered with some long time favorites. For the upcoming FIFA 20 that will be released on September 27, 2019, EA has announced that they will be adding a street game mode called Volta which will allow gamers to play smaller street game matches and include a variety of neat tricks and skills to apply to gameplay.

EA also dropped hints for a fifth season to Battlefield 5 that will focus on World War II between Japan and the United States.

Pretty exciting news for some die-hard EA fans, though I personally will admit that I’m disappointed that there wasn’t an official announcement from Bioware concerning the new Dragon Age game. Oh well, I guess I’ll just keep waiting around like a sad, sad Bioware fan. Thank God for Star Wars Jedi, though. At least I have something to look forward to from EA!
