Telltale Halts Sales on The Walking Dead: Final Season

In a recent development Telltale has recently closed all digital sales for The Walking Dead: The Final Season. This includes steam and console as well. If you try to go to Telltale’s GOG page a message states the following:

“Telltale has requested a temporary pause of sales of The Walking Dead- Final Season. For all up to date Telltale news, please refer to their official Twitter page.”

The studio has halted all sales while they attempt to figure out how to finish the final two episodes. They anticipate this only being temporary, but I have a feeling that the game will be placed on the back burner due to the lawsuit headed their way. The lawsuit will be covered by Adam so please check back for more updates.

The Walking Dead: The Final Season remains unfinished and Telltale has their hands bound. They have claimed there are employees that are interested in finishing the game, but the issue of that is a moral one as discussed in Adam’s article, Telltale Should Not be Allowed to Finish the Walking Dead Without the Original Team.

It does not look like anything good will be coming to Telltale in the coming months.
