Capcom have announced at Tokyo Game Show that the first three games in the much beloved Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney franchise will be released to all major consoles in early 2019. This means you’ll be able to immerse yourself in beautifully written and presented courtroom drama on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PC alongside the ports that had already been released previously for iOS, Android and Nintendo 3DS.
I sadly never got to play these games when they were new on the Nintendo Game Boy Advance but I have played the original trilogy since then on my iPad and loved every minute of it. A quick search of the App Store today showed that four other Ace Attorney games are available on the platform. These games are Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies, Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice, Apollo Justine: Ace Attorney and Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth. I can only hope all these games will eventually be brought to other platforms but while we wait I’ll almost definitely be getting them for my iPad.
